Walsin Lihwa Announces First Quarter Financial Results,
with NT$ 0.17 Earnings Per Share

Walsin Lihwa Corporation announces its stand alone as well as consolidated financial statements of 2008 first quarter on 30th April. The company's net operating revenue from January through March this year is approx. NT$20.57 billion, 7% higher than the same period last year. The consolidated net operating revenue reached NT$41.95 billion, an increase of 24% compare to first quarter 2007. The operating gross profit reached NT$1.03 billion and the consolidated one reached NT$1.76 billion. The income from operations is NT$ 735 million, and consolidated income from operations is NT$828 million. Net income after tax reached NT$ 540 million, earning per share at NT$ 0.17.
